Gee whiz, I just take longer and longer and longer to make posts and keep this up.
Six days after my last post, I fell in the kitchen and broke my right foot! So utterly ridiculous I can't stand it! Broke it on 12/08/08, went to the ER 12/09 and finally got a cast on it 12/22/08.
We had the most gorgeous snowstorm from 12/17 - 12/19! We get snowfall occasionally, but not really anything much to write home about! Well, this one showered us with a foot and a half of snow...absolutely fantastic! The girls played outside like they were little kids again! It was delightful to watch and enjoy!
Since I am big, had a cast up to my knee and was on crutches, I had to enjoy it from the inside which kinda sucked. Any time I got anywhere close to the door, Fernie would holler from the other room! (GOSH - I can NEVER do NOTHEEN!!) LOL
I got my cast off 01/20/09 and that felt sooo great. Getting used to walking regular again has been a bit difficult. I now have a good deal of arthritis in that foot now. But at least it works!
Sooo, there is more excitememt, but I'm too tired tonite.
