So, here's the latest update on Emilee's camp fundraising campaign. The money had to be turned in on July 2nd.
DRUMROLL PLEASE...........
The camp fee was $255 per camper. She turned in a full camp fee for herself, Rachael and $200 towards a third camper in need!! That's over $700 - all.by.herself! We are so incredibly grateful to the generous golfers. She offered a 'free' day on Thursday, and made a big posterboard with a thank you message. A couple of the guys actually paid her anyway!
So Emi will continue to sell lemonade a couple of days per week in order to raise money for her camp necessities and school clothes, etc.. She's excited, and I'm relieved! We
would not have been able to scrape that $$ together.
We continue to find blessings, even in the middle of extreme hardship. God is good!
