HAPPY BIRTHDAY FERNIE!!

Happy, happy birthday to my husband. His birthday was yesterday, but we were at mom's house and so I didn't post. He's 37 now, and doesn't really look anywhere close to that. No one ever believes that he's got kids almost 21 and 14!

Anyway, while out doing a job with mom yesterday, we see a garage sale. There is a bbq. We don't have one now, nor have we ever even had a gas bbq. I reluctantly get out to see how much they're asking, cause I've got $25 exactly and that's it! Walking up, I just want to run back to the car. I know they're gonna want 60 or 70 bucks for it-it looks new. Just then, I see it. There is a large piece of tape that says $20.00!!! So I ask the lady if it works properly (there's no tank attached). She explains all about it and says it works just fine, but that's what her boyfriend said to ask for it.
This thing looks new, with only cobwebs that need to be hosed off. From the looks of the grill, it may have been used a few times, but not much!

We had to take it apart a bit to get it in mom's 'truck' and get it back to her house. But this is the best present evah!

So when Fernie came to mom's after work to get me and Emilee, we sang to him and showed him his Birthday/Father's Day present. He can't believe it still! What an awesome gift, and to think I really did not want to get out and check the price!

So happy birthday, babe. Now if we can just save up enough for the tank, jeezo!
