American Idol WTH?

So I didn't watch AI faithfully - just bits here and there. Tonight, the big reveal, I watched. Was mostly enjoyable, except :

• I really like Carrie Underwood lots. So wth was with the virtual crotch-cam while she was singing...jeezo. (and her legs were lookin awfully thin - Carrie honey, run by In-N-Out while you're in town!)
• George Michael. mmmkay Well, just George Michael that's all. WTH?
• my husband snoring loudly...yea and then there's that!

There were a few more, but let's ride onto the more positive side, shall we?

• The Gladys Knight skit with Jack Black and the boys as the pips - loved it!
• Carrie Underwood's performance - great as usual (but she should've kicked off her shoe at the cameraman!)
• The Davids' risky business spoof commercials silly but funny.
• David Cook's reaction. Very heartfelt and sweet. (and his brother was just as shaken)
