What a great weekend we had at the beach. We went down and walked the pier, sat and visited and had a coke at the little restaurant down at the end of the pier. Just enjoyed the beautiful ocean and watched all the people (and there were a kajillion) swimming and frolicking in the sun and sand! Then we went back and I was beaten handily in a couple of card games. Much fun, nonetheless.
This coming weekend is the little surprise party for Sunny's birthday down in Indio. According to Rob, there are already about 50 people coming - holy crap! I talked to her yesterday and she has no idea. She believes that we are gonna cruise out therewith my mom and stay the following weekend and she's excited for that...she will be floored Saturday when she gets home and we're all there!
I am so glad that we are all going to be up there soon. She told me yesterday that she began bleeding again this weekend and showing signs of miscarrying again. She went to the dr yesterday and they drew blood to check hormone levels, so she should know by today or tomorrow if her body is trying to shut it down again. I hope not, but if it has to happen I would rather it happen now than for it to drag on another couple of months. I'm glad that Em and Rachie are there with her, I know that helps keep her mind busy. Please say some extra prayers!
Emi and Rachie are still making plans to go to the church summer camp. The youth are having a fundraiser this weekend at church. I hope that all the kids who want to go are able! Sunny and Rob are going, as they are the youth leaders - they are both studying and working to become youth pastors.
That's about all the excitement from here for now! tah tah.
